At the end of January, my precious mother-in-law turned 50. We had her over for dinner at our house on her actual birthday and then had a surprise dinner a couple of days later at Panchos. She was really surprised at the dinner when Angela, Jay, and Tucker showed up from Union City. Robbin is such an amazing woman and such an inspiration to so many people. I can't imagine having a better mother-in-law!! Happy Birthday Robbin!

Real Life Talladega Nights!!!

So, this past weekend some of our dear friends got free tickets to Talladega and invited us to go with them. Since I have NEVER even watched an entire race, I was a little skeptical, but decided to go for it. Well, I have to say, it turned into a really fun experience!! We got there on Saturday afternoon, set up camp, and started our adventure. First of all, as many of you know, I am not a big camper, but with great friends and great weather, it was a lot of fun!! On Sunday morning, we all woke-up to a wonderful breakfast prepared by my amazing husband, complete with biscuit, bacon, and eggs!! After breakfast, it was time to pack up camp and head to the race. We decided that we really wanted to fit in with all of the other race fans so we bought some racing attire. I think that we looked like official Nascar fans!!! All in all, it was a great trip!!! Brad and Sloan's driver (Tony Stewart) won, so they were really happy. My driver, Dale Jr., went out in a wreck after I flashed him my boobs...haha, just kidding!!!! Enjoy the pictures. OH YEAH, I almost forgot, Brad had been growing out his facial hair just so he could shave it into this nice piece of work!! Ha

On a sad note, my precious grandpa Bill Linville (aka: Pa Bill) passed away on Monday morning. He was a wonderful loving Christian man and an amazing grandfather. He had been sick for a while and his body just could not handle it anymore. We are all comforted knowing that he is in heaven with God looking down on all of us. We love you Pa Bill and will miss you greatly!!

So, this past weekend, we did some landscaping to make the house look more like a home!! I had never landscaped, so I called in the assistance of my future mother-in-law to help me (along with Brad, of course!). We went to Home Depot and bought all kinds of beautiful plants. Here is the end result for now. We still have some more to do, but I am happy for now!!! I love our home!! Thanks Robbin for the help and a big thanks to Brad for working so hard all the time to make our house PERFECT!!!!

Well, I have officially decided to start my own blog since I look at other people's blogs everyday. As most of you know, Brad and I are getting married July 26th. We are so excited, but very busy! I think that we have finally got most everything planned, so now we are just waiting on the big day. In a couple weeks, I have to move out of my apartment and then all of the showers and parties begin. I can't wait!!
