Real Life Talladega Nights!!!

So, this past weekend some of our dear friends got free tickets to Talladega and invited us to go with them. Since I have NEVER even watched an entire race, I was a little skeptical, but decided to go for it. Well, I have to say, it turned into a really fun experience!! We got there on Saturday afternoon, set up camp, and started our adventure. First of all, as many of you know, I am not a big camper, but with great friends and great weather, it was a lot of fun!! On Sunday morning, we all woke-up to a wonderful breakfast prepared by my amazing husband, complete with biscuit, bacon, and eggs!! After breakfast, it was time to pack up camp and head to the race. We decided that we really wanted to fit in with all of the other race fans so we bought some racing attire. I think that we looked like official Nascar fans!!! All in all, it was a great trip!!! Brad and Sloan's driver (Tony Stewart) won, so they were really happy. My driver, Dale Jr., went out in a wreck after I flashed him my boobs...haha, just kidding!!!! Enjoy the pictures. OH YEAH, I almost forgot, Brad had been growing out his facial hair just so he could shave it into this nice piece of work!! Ha

You get hooked after you go to one or two. Atlanta is a great track to go to as well and you can stay in a hotel close to the track so you don't have to camp :)

That is hilarious! I am cracking up thinking that MY HUSBAND would do something EXACTLY like that with the facial hair and the clothing, too! I will have to remember that if I ever attempt an actual Nascar race myself!

Wow - Davis. I am super impressed by your redneckness! I love it.

I had a pretty sweet Nascar shirt you could have borrowed from a Nasty Nascar mixer Sophomore year. Why do I still have it, you ask? Because you just never know.... :) Love you!
